TDM Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Candy apple red with a maple neck and fretboard. Bought if off Davy a few weeks ago Original thread with more pics here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=135583&hl= Just wanting to get back how much I paid for it (Since I need the money for other purchases!) - £70 collected.
GarethFlatlands Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Everything working OK on it, no major work that needs doing or anything?
TDM Posted May 30, 2011 Author Posted May 30, 2011 Could do with some new strings, a setup and a bit of a clean to be totally honest, but it's structurally finally. Only reason I haven't done it myself is because it's at my flat in Newcastle at the moment where I don't even have an allen key!
GarethFlatlands Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 I'll give it a think, got another guitar which needs some work doing on it at the moment.

mcgraham Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 These are massively underrated guitars. Get a good one, give it a good setup and maybe some new pickups and it'll outstay guitars 10 or 20, or in this case, even 30 times the original price.
mcgraham Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Do it man! I put Wizard pickups in mine (crystal neck pickup, tweed bridge pickup) and it sounds a-mazing. Sounds and feels better as a do-it-all workhorse than most guitars I've played. Long story short, the neck also got (unintentionally) refinished in a semigloss nitro finish when I had some work done on it, and it turned it into an astounding player. Like a 'refined 2x4'.
