Lovely refinished Tele Bass

This is nice, looks like a maple top has been added, and black binding on any Tele is gorgeous!

Yeah it looks ok, the Birdseye Maple top has retained the Butterscotch Blonde look a tele suits best IMO ( with the maple fingerboard too )

I'm usually pretty open minded about this type of thing..... but imho that looks horrid.
It might have been more effective (and less like a cover up job) with a matching headstock.

I like it, and there's almost a Ricky vibe going on with that binding, but at £1200 I think he's being a mite ambitious ...
