Pkomor
Is there any fairly easy way to change my 4ohm cam into an 8 ohm cab? i want to run two 8 ohm cabs, with the total minimum of 4 ohms..... basically i have a 250 watt amp wiht the minimum impedance of 4ohms, and i already have a 4 ohm cab which i want to keep, as it is part of a combo... I want to add an 8 ohm 4x10 cab to my rig and the only way to do this as far as i can see is making my current cab 8ohms (if thats possible,) i know i could run them in series or whatever, but then the impedance would be 12 oms or something, and thats too high in my books! cheers, Pete. clauster
How many drivers have you got in your 4ohm cab?
Pkomor
One 15inch, and a horn, I was sort of wondering if there was a inline cable or something available...
Merton
No. The only way to do it is to change the woofer to an 8ohm one.
