Mr. Fudge's new MM jazz.

Why?

Because he doesn't deserve it and if it wasn't for my careful coaching over the years he probably would gone for some awful Fernandes with a tiger skin scratchplate.

Interesting thread guys :)

I think either of Kiwi's Celindar's would be nice, they both play and sound so sweet...the Precision is what got me into the P sound though, i love that bass...but the J is just a monster for slap, i've never been able to slap like that!!!

I don't think anyone has a Lull on here yet...so can't GAS for that, Flanker normally has a tasty treat or two, but i've already got the F Bass covered

I know that someone has a 6 string F Bass on here, wouldn't mind a bash on that...

Sorry guys...but you can't have my Marleaux or F Bass to put into the swops, hehe!

Oh yes Jamie, your Marleaux fretless would do me very nicely - still my fave pre-amp too.
Just sounds so 'right'. Cheers for those who said they liked my humble offerings!

You beat me to it.

And I´d probably be happy with any of the basses niceguyhomer has owned over the years.

Ok, apart from the Bongo. I do have priciples. :)

:) i've just caught up with this thread.. it's amazing how good it feels to be complimented by someone saying they gas for Your bass  - cheers paul, the!
i generally only gas for basses up for sale... right now, HiperiOn's '79 Stingray... My tastes are pretty simple and IMO that bass is just beautiful - love the burst, love the tort, love how everything on that bass looks. wouldn't have any doubts that it sounds and plays great too, no? also, to mix it up a little, I like the look of Mr.Russ' GK/MarkBass rig... How come the 'show us your rig' thread isn't at least pinned? I enjoy rig porn almost as much as that of the bass variety...

+1 for that. I've always wanted a natural with black plate, but that is seriously, seriously beautiful.

Yes... Alan has very good tastes in basses as my ex-homer Fender Jazz will testify. :)

Oooh, I quite like the graphite one. And I'd buy that ovation if you were closer.

Can I have Finn's new Ibanez Axestar please? I don't know why I like this so much, but I do!

Why is it that all the basses I like are mid-80s?
