ezbass
If any vicars, priests, pastors, etc want to boost their congregation numbers, I think the answer is here. I'd go. Apologies if this has been previously posted.
xgsjx
I've seen that a good few times now & never fails to make me smile like he does (especially at the wee pause at the end)
Hutton
Thanks for the apologies. I'm pretty sure it's been on before. However, it's great to be reacquainted with a great clip. Many thanks!

Truckstop
When I saw this guy for the first time (Bubinga5 put a clip up), I instantly changed my playing style when I'm doing funky chops. I used to always play the string between the neck and bridge pickup, but now I play behind the bridge pickup and suddenly it's just so much easier to get those runs and octaves tight! Great player, true groove! Truckstop
Graham56
...and not a slap in sight! If my local church had been like this when I was growing up I might have stayed with it. But dour Scottish Presbyterianism had a slightly different effect. Cheers Graham

Cheers Graham[/quote] I work in the Church of Scotland which is presbyterian as is the Free Church of Scotland. The two branches shouldn't be confused. I would also say that there are plenty of very lively CofS congregations with good music being played. It's perhaps not very fair to damn Scottish presbyterianism as a whole. One persons experience can be vastly different from another's.

dumelow
what he should do is stop playing in churches and start playing at proper music venues.
xgsjx
I do believe he has played with quite a lot of mainstream known artists. Anyway, church IS a proper music venue
