Good for both PUPs and mics, and most importantly, for blending the two. Thanks, Greg[/quote] Hey Greg I haven't used the DPA (I very nearly bought one until the guy at DV247 mentioned that to get the best out of the mic I'd need to spend at least the same on a preamp!). The Baggs worked very well with the slightly lower quality K&K double bass mic I used to own. Another BC member has first dibs on the Baggs at present, I'm waiting for him to get back to me. If he doesn't want it, I'll get back to you mate Chris
