Jazzes look too plain without a p/g and I don't like creme, it looks like someone's left some white covers outside for a few months then fitted them again without cleaning them. Jazz basses can be without pickguards if they have a nice figured wood top, or perhaps a sparkly razzle dazzle finish at a push, otherwise, pickguard stays on.... and pickup covers stay black.
