Excelsior is just a name B&H put on their student range of instruments, wherever they came from. Many earlier Excelsiors are also labelled as 'Artia' and 'Made in Luby, Czechoslavakia'. What does thatfaint pen/pencil writing at the botom say? Made in Czechoslovakia? Good news if it does - likely made at the factory now known as Strunal (STRinged-instruments-of Luby). Sweet bass.
