nomis Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 hey yall! just sold my fender 810 which was great, was going to get some orange cabs to go with my ad200 but im having a change of heart and i am thinking about getting an ampeg 810 just coz i miss having that big mother pushing air behind me! never had/played through an ampeg810 i used to have a 410 and 115 a while ago and quite liked it. i see ampeg 810s everywhere so i guess they are good! what are peoples opinions etc on them? NJW Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 (edited) The low end of the Ampeg 6x10 is much more focused and you'll never be struggling for volume. A better cab than the 8x10 and you can still make the world crumble around you with it. I had an Ampeg 8x10, followed by a 6x10... and now I'm down to an Aguilar 4x10. Getting smaller and smaller but my sound seems to be getting bigger and bigger! Edited June 3, 2011 by NJW Quote
