Thanks Wayne but i may have a deal on the cards.. im thinking seriously about letting this go.. played it this afternoon and its got such a great growl to it.. the slap tone is fantastic..

Depressingly I may soon have to sell my '92 ray. If I do and am in a position to do so afterwards I plan on squirreling some away incase you decide to flog this to me;)

What about an American Warmoth Jazz with Nordstrand NJ4SE's, an Audere 2 band pre, Badass bridge, swamp ash body and maple neck with ebony fingerboard, in a rather fetching white, as seen in this very same for sale section?

unless the photo's are playing tricks that looks like daphne blue to me , I have an identical bass , also an identical colour john cruz masterbuilt 1960 strat which says daphne blue on the certificate

Surf Green is notoriously difficult for all but the best digi cameras to capture accurately out with perfect lighting conditions. Natural daylight helps. :)

He doesn't, he's stirring things up. Honestly if you ever get round to selling this in the next few months BB please let me know, I've been after a Surf Green bass for so long, shame to see you had issues trading it.

It was most probably me....the deal didnt work out :)
Timewaster may be a tad harsh and one sided but theres the breaks.
