Minty
Hello all! I've noticed that since restringing my Jazz, the E string saddle tends to...wander...away from the rest of the saddles. After a few minutes of playing there will be a small gap between E and A. Does this mean the strings aren't aligned properly, or is this just commonplace with bridges like this? You can see what I mean in this photo I took. [attachment=81762:jazzbridge2.jpg] Thanks! Edited June 4, 2011 by Minty
ikay
This is normal for a vintage style bridge with no seating channels for the saddle screws. The string/saddle will just find it's natural position. Nothing to worry about looks fine to me
