I don't know if this is the right thread to post in but here it goes, I'm a struggling musician in Cairo, Egypt. I'm currently the front man of a new band called " Kayden ", We play Progressive Death metal. I'm thinking about getting a bass just for starters and i don't know what to purchase or what's what and stuff like that plus the money is kind of short or mostly i don't have any at the moment, If anyone have like a used bass and think about tossing aside i'd be glad to have it at least for a start, any help will be really appreciated,

But to have a go at answering you question, id probably go for something with a double humbucker arrangement.

Thanks man for your reply, I'll try posting there as well maybe like you said i get more hits, i was going for an LTD F 105 but the cash is really an issue :S

A 5 string Squire would be cheaper and might be a good place to start looking.

we can't get that much variety here Chris,.. and again it's all about the money that's why i said if anyone have a unused or broken bass i'll be happy to have/fix it
