Dont forget it has one cavity missing due to the active to passive conversion

I'm not sure naming the person on here will help at this stage although feel free to offer my obsessive hoarder/self styled expert list of many reasons why it is fake to the faker. What if they say they bought it as real and have an email saying as such? You can see where our initial thoughts were coming from now I guess?

Yeah that did occur to me... except the original listing apparently didn't say anything apart from the rather transparent "converted to passive" thing and claimed the guitar was genuine.

So I guess naming and shaming is inappropriate without right of reply - just a little phrase I thought I'd throw in as Martin wasn't given it - and since Martin just wants rid of the darn thing and to forget the whole matter I think it's best left well alone.

Btw if he ever joins this forum (unlikely!) he's a genuine guy so be nice to him! He started playing bass in the 70s punk era when most of you in here weren't even thought of.

It's alright I just wish they made an acoustic stingray bass does the job and sounds quite funky actually.
