Mr. Foxen Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 The little bastard would probably be mint, but mostly into a guitar cab, the cab does a lot of the sound. Quote
Wooks79 Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 That's one of the main reasons I got hol of my sound city b120, use for both bass and guitar, just swap cabs around. I think it sounds good Quote

stingrayPete1977 Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 The Genz is basically a single channel pa anyway so you can run a little valve in and add a normal guitar effects pedal inline and your away really, With the tweeter at full belt you would still get kicked out of a country and western band for being too twangy! xgsjx Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 I use my acoustic guitar into my markbass combo all the time & sounds faithful to what I put into it. Quote
Ancient Mariner Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Acoustic guitars don't sound too bad through bass amps & cabs, especially if they have a tweeter. However electric through a SS bass amp and cab is plain nasty - so much of electric guitar tone is shaped by the amp & cab that it is a very poor compromise. However if you have a decent valve head and a guitar cab with appropriate speakers then that can work well. Quote
