Monckyman Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 (edited) For sale, my ABM500 115 combo. PRICE DROP TO [s]£270[/s] £250. This was made in the UK in 2002. I know this because it says so in marker pen inside on the chassis and it also says 03/02 in the serial number on the back. That makes this a Series One EVO, widely regarded as the best sounding of all the EVO range. I have replaced the VU led recently and there are ultra quiet fans in place of the stock ones so much quieter and I reckon more efficient too. The stock Blueline 15" has been replaced with a Made for Ampeg Eminence 300w which to my ears makes the best of the cab and gives a deep warm but tight tone. All the buttons, pots, lights and switches are in good order. The tolex has a couple of very small dings, no real rips or scrapes. All corners and feet are present. I have not gigged this amp, only rehearsed with it, and it lived in the rehearsal room so minimal movement in the last 8 weeks. I now have a new amp head and the ABM is at home in a corner not being used.
