basslondon
Hi Ive attached some pictures of my March 84 JV Precision which has been in the loft for the past 5 years unplayed. I dont get the use out of it as i have moved on to more "Sophisticated" Instruments ( 5/6 strings etc). Ive heard rumours that it might be worth a penny or two these days so can anyone give a balanced view on this. Ive heard outrageous claims and wonder what the concensus was... TBH you could advertise it at anywhere in between those figures and you might still not get a bite. A JV P bass modded with a Jazz pup was on ebay recently for a BIN of £600/£550/£500/£400 and eventually sold for £360, that should give you an idea but it might be worth trawling through past BC sales to see what has actually sold (as opposed to been advertised) and for how much. basslondon
Kinda what i thought really... There is some vivid imaginations locally to me that said a grand + but i thought it was too good to be true. Back to the loft it goes!!!
