RhysP Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 (edited) They did f*** about with the body shapes in the 80s - if you look at the cover of "The Fender Bass" by Klaus Blasquiz the two basses on there have the same body shape as the one in the Ebay auction. Edited June 7, 2011 by RhysP Quote
Dave Vader Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 That's one of the late 80s-early 90's "Boner" Jazzes. Google it, they're very real. Quote
thatgrantboy Posted June 7, 2011 Author Posted June 7, 2011 (edited) I love how knowledgeable this forum is I've never seen a jazz like that at all before. Personally I think having the upper horn like that looks horrendous too (and my guess is so did they, given it appears production of it didn't last too long?) Ou7shined Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Yeah it's a Boner. That rosewood looks a bit thirsty. Quote
karlfer Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Yup, 22 fret Boner (Longhorn originally?) Karl. Quote
