JimD
Hiya Bit of an odd time to post this - should have done it a LOT earlier because basically the band I've been in for the last two years, Small Machine, have just (amicably) split; we played our final (40th) gig on Saturday night as our singer is off to live in the far east for a while (English teacher), and our drummer has to sell his car (so no more travel to rehearsals). Anyway, the other night we got quite a nice video done at the 12 Bar so I'm posting it here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lP2h9B2Vwcc ...largely as it shows off my Dean Evo XM quite nicely, even if it does also show off my "moobs" (and random technique) quite well too...(!) I got the Dean off a fellow BC'er, Tezza, as I suffer from tennis elbow in the left arm, and the short scale has made a real difference. The Dean was going through the house amp, an Ashdown if I recall correctly, and thence the PA. The stage is kind of small so our singer had to stand in the audience. We'd only just got there after getting lost in central London and we just loaded in and went straight onstage, so we were all quite hot and bothered. But it was a great gig. If you like our stuff we did record an EP which is on iTunes, Amazon, etc. There are full versions of the three tracks on YouTube anyway on our channel and if you really want a copy in physical form I have a very small number to sell at £3 each! The 1x15 was mic'ed up - no DI! Hope those that like this...like it! Jim D
