I'm selling a 4 string Warwick Thumb - Bolt-on It's one of the best basses i've ever played and I would love for it to go to a loving home. Mr Cougar
Ah that's a nice looking bass, last few months the Warwick market has seemed a little lifeless though, might be worth haging on to?

madzombieguy
I know. I've heard alot of people saying the same things. But when you're ultra skint, with rent overdue and the end of Uni fast approaching, you need the money

warwickhunt
I've been touting a NT Streamer Stage I @ £600 for 6mths to no avail so let's hope that your landlord isn't 'Harry the b*st*d' (old sketch but quite relevant if you're at Uni) Good luck. angelboy
Prices for Warwicks are really weird. I bought a mint Thumb Thru for £750 then sold it a year later for £1000.......Go figure?!?!? I do think I got a great deal and that a grand was also a fair price for a few year old bass with a RRP of £1850 Good luck with the sale. weeted
Went to see this bass last night (50 mile drive each way). It really is a nice bass and the seller is a real nice guy, but be aware he will not accept the £600 price as advertised. I offered this in cash but it was not accepted. He is holding out for £750.....I cant blame him for that, its a lovely bass. Just dont waste your time going to see it if you think that you will get it for £600. Good luck with the sale anyway. Mike
That is absolutely ridiculous - how the hell can you wish him luck if you drove 100 miles to see it, only to be misled on the price? Buyer beware, I'd say. Very poor show.

Why advertise it for £600 then!! I would have been most pi**ed off, if i'd had to drive 100 mile round trip for nothing.

Smash
Blimey... why advertise for £600, believe me weeted there will be another one round soon you will pick up for that price. I would have been not amused.
Dubs
what a stitch up, obviously a seller who cannot be taken seriously? Edit - forgot to mention that I got a thumb bolt on for £550 with a good hard case, so £600 would have been cheap but not unreasonably cheap for the seller to let it go for that much, but...how can anyone advertise a price and let someone drive all that way knowing that they're not going to sell it to them for the advertised price?!?! it's madness i tell thee Edited April 24, 2008 by benwhiteuk

warwickhunt
If as you say he's refused to sell it to you in person for the price that he has it advertised for, then I have sneaking suspicion he'll not be finding a quick sale on the forum, regardless of price! I have to admit you seem to be taking it a fair bit calmer than I would...
