Lemuel Beam Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Hi Folks Up for sale here is a Westfield bass guitar in metallic dark grey, and a Laney HC25B practice combo. It belonged to an ex-pupil of mine who has given up playing.. =:0( The bass by Westfield - I can't see a model name or number on it - is light and easy to play, although I think the set-up could be improved upon; there's hardly any fret wear and the light gauge roundwounds seem pretty lively. Pup configuration is p/j with vols and tone - not the quietest setup, but not bad either. As far as the amp goes, I've turned it on and tested it for 10 minutes or so and it works fine. Sporting a 10in speaker and parametric eq, there are positive reviews of this model here: [url="http://www.harmonycentral.com/products/90456"]http://www.harmonycentral.com/products/90456[/url] There is a rather flimsy gigbag for the bass. The whole lot would make a fine starter/improver package and is priced to sell at £120.00 for the lot, or £75.00 each if sold separately.
