But i have always wondered what this bass he used back then is, i guess a stingray of some kind but i may be wrong. Also he got a gr8 tone around this time. mike257 Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Yeah, I think he was a G3 man back in the old days, I remember reading an interview with him complaining about the price of vintage ones, since he "made them famous again".
