Dare I say the Recurve looks even better than the Wal. Difficult to achieve but a very fine looking bass.

I wholeheartedly agree mate, that ACG is a lovely example of the evolution of bass :)

Early days, but it seems to be a cracking bass. Neck is wonderful and I love the flat board. The filter pre is fun, easier to dial in more traditional bass sounds than the Wal and love the addition of the tone knob, but overall they are very different basses. I like both :)

Isn't that the quote from the "something something Axe Murderer" film? Sorry can't remember the title now.

Here's my recently acquired Recurve 4 with my other fretted ACG Finn. Sort of Ying & Yang, but not quite.

No idea why one pic is sideways :(

That's really nice. Is the bass new as I can't see it on Alan's website?
[/quote]

I think it's one he has had in stock for a while. If it's the one I think it is (the one with Colin Cunningham demo'ing it on YouTube), Alan had it in May when I went to spec my Recurve. Had a quick go on it, great bass!

My pair of Finns - they deserve some better photos (not to mention a better player owning them) so will get that sorted soon when they are safely in their new home :)

Well, been out of the club since I moved on the Recurve, but now have this little beauty, familiar to many I'm sure, Finn 0043 :)

Is that the photos or the player Merton? I've never let my lack of ability stand in the way of acquiring ACGs. I still want to find a way to try out your ACG 'P' at some point.

Lovely looking bass there Kev
