Nostromo
Need a referee to sort out an argument here ! . . . Its trivia time ! . . . . Several of my mates here tonight are, over a beer or three, claiming they saw Michael McDaid (Paulo Nutini’s Bass player) on stage with a Fender Zebra Wood Jazz bass last year. The opposition say it isn’t a Fender at all . . . but don’t have a clue what it might be ? . . . . There is one guitarist here who doesn’t believe there is such a thing as a Zebra Wood Jazz bass ! ! Well here’s the picture: Anyone know what this bass is ? . . . . . we are all just arguing about it ! . . . we should be out playing ! cheers all,
Roland Rock
I thought it could be a Warmouth build, but then spotted this Not heard of Esoteric Bass before though Edited June 10, 2011 by Roland Rock
ThomBassmonkey
It's unlikely it's Fender, with the nice top and the neck pickup looks like a double J or MM. Having a bit of a search around online, I found this: There's no logo on the headstock, so RR is probably right.
Vibrating G String
I would believe it's a Fender neck (or look alike clone of somekind) on a new or re-topped body.
