What we have here is an item that in terms of its functionality/form is the absolute pinnacle of its design (ie it is perfect for what it does and therefore would not ever need to be changed, improved or bettered) and some may say that that is PRICELESS

Nope - it's the correct profile for a cap made in P&G's factory in Auburn, Maine. The number of external ridges suggests dates it somewhere between 2007 & mid-2010.

It's an easy mistake to make - the Auburn plant only made caps occasionally, to make up any shortfall from the Asian factories.

It's still a little overpriced, IMO.
