The Bass Doc Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 (edited) Selling for a mate who commissioned this about 3 years ago but now only ever plays an active Jazz. The neck is Allparts but re-profiled to be slightly less 'clubby'. Swamp ash body made by me - slab front but 'belly' contour back. Butterscotch finish. Standard EMG P pickup, rear mounted Gotoh battery box. Vintage style bridge with threaded saddles. Fender reverse-turning tuners. Hard to spot on a pic but there is a very slight dink at the tip of the headstock - usual result of belting a drummer's head to keep him in time. Looking for £375 collected or plus £20.00 for posting. Edited August 11, 2011 by The Bass Doc
The Bass Doc Posted June 12, 2011 Author Posted June 12, 2011 Not that I think he needs another bass - but no harm in offering?

Nice one Bass Doc and good luck with the sale of this one. Regards, Jon
The Bass Doc Posted July 12, 2011 Author Posted July 12, 2011 It's still here, but it should be there.
Mr. Foxen Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 So frustrating that every time I see a telebass neck, it boasts about being slim. I want massive. I'm going to have to order another Wishbass.
The Bass Doc Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 The neck profile started off similar to a 70s Precision and was dressed away at the 'shoulders' to give the feel of a slimmer neck without losing any 'front to back' strength (if that makes any sense). It retains the standard 42mm width at the nut. The weight comes in at around 5K according to fairly dodgy bathroom scales.
The Bass Doc Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 NOW SOLD. Thanks to those who took an interest. (I could always build another one ).
