pete.young
For sale: Aria Pro II RSB Special lined fretless, black body maple neck, rosewood board. I bought this bass second-hand from Northern Sounds in Workington on 7th March 1986 for a then-whopping £225 quid. I still have the receipt. The serial number dates it to 1984 and I guess it was defretted between then and the time I got it, since as far as I know it wasn't available fretless from new. The electrics all work smoothly and without crackle. The neck is very slim and playable, measuring 1.57" at the nut. Considering it's nearly 25 years old it's in very good condition, with 2 significant marks which I've tried to show in the photos. It has a small scratch about 1 cm long on the front of the top horn, through the finish but not through to the wood, and a ding in the top of the body. I'll try and get some pictures up later today, or PM me if you can't wait. I'm looking for £125 for this. There's no case, just a fairly flimsy gig bag, so I'd prefer a pickup from Ipswich area.
