jonsparrow91 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) FABULOUS: And here's a video of me playing it: http://youtu.be/8S8jvIwaQXM Only 2 weeks old, been given a good setup and a fresh pair of GLOWING PINK strings. Sexy. The control plate has been removed as it was black so it didn't really go with the transparentness; I don't have it anymore. Very tonally even will a slight increase in the lower mids. Passive electronics (vol/vol/tone). It weighs 5.6kg. Side effects may include back-combed hair and leather pants. I bought this bass for £170 plus shipping and it has since been setup and equipped with some rather expensive strings (£45) soooo my price is £140 I'm interested in trading for an acoustic bass. These are the pics I asked them to take before I bought it. It's been cleaned and lemon oiled since these pictures were taken: And because I could: Edited July 13, 2011 by spaz91
topo morto Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 if I hadn't just bought 2 basses I'd get it to match my strap!
jonsparrow91 Posted June 14, 2011 Author Posted June 14, 2011 Why didn't I think of getting one of those?!
Ou7shined Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I use clear see-thru straps (sometimes people even ask how keep the bass up )... more in keeping with this I feel. Bermp.
jonsparrow91 Posted June 16, 2011 Author Posted June 16, 2011 Bump. Up for trade now, my 51RI Precision doesnt seem to cut it in a metal band.
jonsparrow91 Posted June 17, 2011 Author Posted June 17, 2011 ^ They're fantastic basses but sadly not my thing, thanks anyway.
LiamPodmore Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 If you'll include the wide strap i may have a Squier Deluxe Jazz V i could trade. 51mm nut, 20 fret ebonol fingerboard, 3 band EQ, slight damage around the jack, but most of that is on the back. Liam
Evil Undead Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Ha! That's so cool. And sounds awesome, which I didn't expect. I don't think my back would like it though...

jonsparrow91 Posted July 5, 2011 Author Posted July 5, 2011 Heavier than I would like but not to heavy to play.
jonsparrow91 Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 I know you want it, I won't tell anyone.
