I had a thought with that cab 1200W and my amp in bridged mono 1450W peak that would be a beast, I know it 250W over but would I ever get to the point of damage?[/quote] Damage? Only to the surrounding infrastructure. Bad news if that has gone, I have paid money to see that cranked up.
waynepunkdude
He said it was a done deal but I haven't heard from him in 3 days, fingers crossed but either way I have some serious power.

molan
I had a great SVTII (non-pro) for a while. Absolutely loved it but couldn't lift the bloody thing, lol. It came in at 125lbs in the Mesa Boogie shock rack it came with!

Can I just make sure that 2 X 200W 8OHM cabs will be fine using it in 4 OHM mode?

waynepunkdude
Cheers buddy, one of the speaker outputs is a little iffy, no biggy but I'm not using it till it's sorted so it's off to the tech tomorrow, going to check the valves are balanced while it's there too. The sound when it was on was incredible though.

waynepunkdude
Annoyingly I was in Godalming last Wednesday, I'll get my man to look at it because I think it's just a dry joint and it's on a jack output and when the new cab turns up I'll only be using the speakon output, if it is something serious (fingers crossed) I'll take it to your man.
