Hello Guys,

I have to put on sale this beauty due to my business which is not as good as before.
I bought it from Clarky (a very nice gentleman :)) few weeks ago.
It is in flawless condition with a gorgeous ebony fingerboard (very nice stripes on it).
Traditionnal construction mahogany, american walnut facing, 2004.
The fretless tones are just the best I have ever heard, like an old cello, it sings !
£2500

I live in Paris but I come in London 2 or 3 times per month.

Cheers !

This is a beautiful bass in remarkable condition. It has a slim neck which will really appeal to those who like Jazz basses (and is in contrast to many chunky necked Wals) and the side markers are great for intonation. Lafrite was a very nice guy to deal with too. IMHO the Wal is the king of fretless (my Mk 1 is a keeper, along with my 63P).Sorry to hear that circumstances dictate you have to sell this bass and good luck with the sale!

Thank you so much Clarky for your kind comments.
I would rather prefer not to sell this wonderful instrument.
I saw you are selling about the same one fretted, just gorgeous !

Maybe you could try selling on the Wal forum? http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/walbassesnaturally/

I've got a good news for me, I just sold my 81 precision bass special so I can keep my lovely Wal.
Clarky, you've done the exact oppposite ! That's funny.

Good news! I did sell my fretted Wal but I've still got my fretless Mk 1 Wal :)
