crez5150
Just been reading about this.... looks like a great idea... http://digitech.com/en-US/products/ipb-
DanOwens
I think Digitech stuff can be a bit hit-and-miss, but the concept is amazing!
tayste_2000
Colour me interested, only downside is it's digitech fx though 10 bass synth wahs in a row would be fun
tayste_2000
Ignore that just read the fx list, if there are accurate models this will do a lot for me
crez5150
indeed.... and it's not just Digitech FX either... they have boss,TC and EHX
steve
oh crap, just when I thought I couldn't find anything else to spend money on... my only concern is whether I'd want to risk my ipad with the drunken-monkey footed punters we get at some of our gigs
Dood
Woh, that's really cool - I've seen a lot of people working on using Tablet PCs with hardware synths and workstations. The idea is brilliant and has already started me thinking about integrating a tablet in to my studio / bass rig somehow. I'm really pleased to see mainstream manufacturers catching on to the possibilities that tablets and other mobile devices can afford us as musicians. It's really not doing my GASsing any good though, as I am trying to decide if I should have an iPad2 or an Android / Windows equivalent! Oh boy-o-boy! ezbass
Looks very tasty and possibly a great way to find out if the iPad is beer proof.

That sounds like a great idea! - I always thought that the Line 6 stuff was brilliant because you could plug a laptop in and configure it - so being able to disconnect the iPad totally is brilliant. I'm liking it more and more too!!

I've seen that vid. A cool idea for effects junkies! Well iPad has arrived, it's only a matter of time before it is laden with guitar stuff! mxm
Great product from Digitech - next step is to possibly open the idea out a bit more ...iphone docking ? ...different units with differing numbers of pedals/wahs. ...data stored on ipad rather than pedal - bringing costs down ? and so on ! Lfalex v1.1
If you ever see me on stage with a laptop or PC, it'll be in a pose similar to the Classic Paul Simonon/ Clash "bass-wrecking" shot. Except I'll be swinging a bass at it and not the floor.....
