I really wanted to see these at Glasto a few years ago, unknown to me they cancelled at the last minute.

Add in some quite strong halloucinogenics and I ended up repeatedly asking my friend why Cake weren't playing before various adventures resulting in me waking up with a huge banner saying "The Jesus Centre" over my head. Strange day..

But back on topic, I love Cake. This is the first thing I heard "by" them. Nifty bass playing too..

Heres another boring story from me then When I was at college in about 1995 there was a group a year younger than us all into rave music then one day one of the lads had a hmv bag with him containing this [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_HoMkkRHv8"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_HoMkkRHv8[/url] at which point we got talking about [i]proper music[/i] turns out he was playing bass in a stone roses type band. A year later he joins our band as a second guitarist until switching shortly after permanantly to drums after our awesome but unreliable drummer got fired. Same line up until we stopped playing in 2005 Random story I know
