wateroftyne
I know I'm preaching to the largely converted here, but.... The fitted cover supplied with my Ibanez Promethean combo is hopeless, so I've been looking for a replacement. After hearing a few Roqsolid reccomendations, I thought I'd give them a go. It wasn't an option on their site, so I measured it up (VERY carefully!), and emailed the details to them on Wednesday. I specified black piping and a cable pocket, totalling just short of 40 quid posted. It arrived yesterday - barely a full working day later! Unbelievable. Did I measure it right...? Yep. Spot-on. It's a perfect, perfect fit. It drops right over the top, it's nice and snug, and it nips in at the bottom to keep it secure. There's a hole (perfectly measured, even though I say so myself!) for the handle to pop through. A couple of things to bear in mind: The pocket is big enough for either a jack cable or a kettle lead. That's fine for me, but if you're hoping to fit more in, you might want to ask if they could make it bigger. Also - the material is very tough and high-quality, but be aware that it's not 'padded' in the spongy, traditional sense. Again, I wasn't expecting it to be, nor do I need it to be. This is a very, very high-quality,well made cover that will keep my combo scratch-free and nice and dry in the rain. And for £40, it's a bargain. Very highly recommended. Dear Ibanez - THIS is how you make covers. (Incidentally, the Promethean has been added as a catalogue item to their website now, so if you want one, you don't have to re-measure it.) Billy Apple
+1 Good post, cheers. I've been looking for some covers, and came across this stuff on Ebay, but they were a bit of an unknown. Thanks for the info, I'll be putting in an order

Musicman20
That is excellent! If I get a Promethean, would you recommend this over their bag?
wateroftyne
100%. The factory Ibanez bag is well made, apart from the steel loops, but practically speaking it's hopeless and unusable. It actually makes it harder to carry..!
Len_derby
+1 for Roqsolid. I've bought covers for both my Roland Cube and my Barefaced BigOne. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I decided to go for the optional internal speaker protection 'pocket' for my BigOne cover. I've slipped in some good strong cardboard (from one of those tray/boxes that greengrocers have), and it's given lots of extra protection without adding much at all to the weight. Buy with confidence.
Paul S
I just bought the Barefaced Compact cover - fits like a second skin. Before that I had them make some for two Trace Elliot cabs - top quality kit IMO.
spongebob
I used RS for my Markbass amp and cab covers. Had them made in black and yellow to march the Markbass colours! Massive A1+ - totally superb quality. Think it was about a shade over £60 for both. Had them about 2 years now - been everywhere with me, all weathers - and still as strong as the day they were bought. Great firm to deal with, real quality gear. wateroftyne
Cool! I'm just heading off to a gig now. Normally I'd take an amp and a cab for this one, but the new cover is so cool the Promethean is coming with me...

mingsta
+1 on the good timing With more band/gig stuff coming up, I've been looking in to covers for my GB Shuttle 6.2 210T - I think I'll go with Roqsolid if they've been getting lots of good feedback on BC>
karlfer
I changed cabs that many times last year they should have invited me to the Christmas do Seriously though, brilliant products and fantastic service. Well done them!
The Dark Lord
I am gonna buy some covers soon - but I think this company looks like it makes slightly better stuff. Hot Tub
+1 Got a RS cover ages ago for my little Ashdown practice amp, and it's a quailty cover. I use a big padded Silverstone job for my gigging combo, but that's another story....

mcnach
After reading the reviews, I just passed Silverstone and ordered with Roqsolid for my Markbass CMD121P combo... now wait
neepheid
Yup, another +1 for Roqsolid. I have one of their covers for my RedSub BT5110 "it's cheap so it must be crap, right?" combo. Placeholder strap, red seams (of course ), fits great, does exactly what I need it to, good price, just what I needed.
gapiro
Another +1, have one for my barefaced midget. Superb
WalMan
Another +1. Have had covers for the old MB combo & Epifani cab, and now the BF S12T. They also made a great cover for my Roland PK5 bass pedals after a very prompt response to an initial query through the site and exchange of emails with dimensions. I had the custom bag, which I think was added to the site as a previous custom option, within a week IIRC
Dr.Dave
Happy with mine and they arrived hugely quicker than I was promised. Excellent fit. Only mistake was mine - I asked for matching colour piping for combo and cab. Now I can't tell which is which without taking one cover off. My fault - should have had two differing colours. Dan Dare
Coming to this a little late, but +1 from me. Have 3 of their covers. Fit perfectly, swift delivery and very good value. Edited February 10, 2015 by Dan Dare
