GuitarGuitar Epsom

Pleasantly surprised by the new flagship London (!) GuitarGuitar store in Epsom.

Lots and lots of nice stuff (Laklands, Sadowsky's, higher end Fenders) in amongst the usual Squiers (nothing wrong with them mind) and Mexi-Fenders.

Worth a look if you're passing by... think there's more basses in this store than there are in the whole of Denmark Street. And altho' the prices are tad on the sharp side (i.e bricks and mortar prices) it's great to get access to many makes and models that don't normally get much shelf space locally.

It has, although I don't know if this will result in any more choice in basses. http://www.andertons.co.uk/Pages/store-refit-2011.asp . One or two good bargains to be had there at the moment too.

I don't see how Guitarguitar can get away with calling a store in Epsom 'London'. That's like having a Newcastle store in Carlisle!

Heathrow, Stanstead, Luton and Gatwick have got away with it for years!!

Guess who is working there... :)

I'm in on Tuesday (tomorrow) next if anybody fancies swinging by and trying stuff out.

As for the comments regarding prices, we're generally not far off what you can find them online for at the internet-only suppliers like DV, and with the bonus of getting to try it out, extended warranty and everything else you get from a real store, it's clear what's the better choice!

It's been nice to meet the couple of BC'ers who have been in so far. Wayne is coming in on Tuesday and possibly someone else is as well so send me a PM if you fancy joining the BC delegation that day!
