That is probably my favourite piece of music ever. Not listened to it in a while so thanks for posting.

The Girl from Ipanema. The man himself (and Frank Sinatra)

He played this at Ronnies during the week, and it was fecking amazing.

However knowing this tune inside out, this version does not sound like Dave Grusin, [only one i could find]
Who ever played it did a great job on a fantastic piece of music.

Not music, but two classic film which I'd been meaning to get on DVD for a long time, one of which has only recently become available, so just enjoyed a fabulous nostalgia attack from Sunday afternoon films from when I was a kid.

The Mysterious Island ............. with loads of Ray Harryhausen creatures

...... and Privates Progress with the legend that was Terry-Thomas......

Pretty good touch on the drums as well, shows it doesn't have to be all "bash and Crash"

Pretty much anything from The Doobie Brothers' What Were Once Vices Are now Habits, one of the ultimate sunny day albums. YouTube not very helpful in finding my favourite tracks though :)
