I also like the EMG Select i have, very good sounding pickup. Having said that i also like Wilkinson pups and they're silly cheap.

I quite like Schaller pickups, they are not so popular (yet), so they tend to turn up cheap on Ebay ttc so it's worth keeping a look out for them.

The PB6 has 6mm (1/4") pole pieces like the SD QuarterPounder, I picked up a set for £15 used. They may be expensive new.

The Thumper is a great pickup - significantly higher output, but still passive, and still all P. I loves 'em - great value for money.

I got a 5 string version off eBay for $17, came from Hong Kong I think. Sounds great, nails the vintage tone.
