ray_6ao7 Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 (edited) after selling my warwick tubepath 10.1, the carriers managed to damage the amp....but i think its not in that bad a state... just wondering if anyone wanted this as a repair project.... main damage looks to be the rack ears are slightly bent and scratched and one of the tubes has come out of place.... once i've got the money back from the carrier company it will be for sale.... anyone interested? bigjohn Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Has the tube just "fallen" out or is the socket damaged?
ray_6ao7 Posted February 26, 2008 Author Posted February 26, 2008 i'm pretty sure its fallen out but will double check once the insurance people have had a look at it.... warwick are really good on prices for repairs i think it cost £150ish to have the tubes replaced and the electrics incl shipping to and from germany...a year or so ago....

ray_6ao7 Posted March 3, 2008 Author Posted March 3, 2008 right... after sorting out it out with the carrier company, the amp is now up for sale as a repair project....anyone interested?
wateroftyne Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I've said it before, and I'll say it again... these heads are real dark horses. Made in Germany, 1000w, tubes all over the preamp (Mesa styleeee).. for £200 this has to be worth a punt by someone!
