I recently bought these for £130 from Chandlers to install in my Bacchus 62 Jazz as - based on my web research - they seemed the best high-quality, vintage-alike J pickups you could get for under £200 (the split pickups from Fralin were just too expensive to justify). The buyer of my Bacchus wants to keep the stock pickups in so they are no longer needed.

They are still in their box, unopened and untouched. In fact the box is still surrounded in bubble wrap! Here's the ad from Chandlers http://guitar-xperience.com/onlinestore/in...t&Itemid=38

and here's some specs and sound clips - http://www.lollarguitars.com/mm5/merchant....zz-bass-pickups

£100 plus post sound (more than) fair? For mainland UK, post should be about £2-3, so would be a 20% saving on new price for a new set of pickups :)

do they live up to the hype clarky? I've thought about them too at one point. Would fit them to my Celinder but it can't take stock jazz pups.

Truth is I have no idea as they are still in their box, unopened!
