Quatschmacher
Hi guys, I did a search in this section on this and didn't find what I was looking for. I'm currently without a gigging amp and am interested in a GK400RB combo and would like to know what is reasonable to pay for a (lightly) used one. I've looked on the TB forum and I saw one go for $275. Obviously the UK being as overpriced as it is, I don't expect to find one that cheap, but I would like to have a rough idea as one has come up locally but I'm not sure whether to bite. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Edited February 27, 2008 by Quatschmacher
tempo
The general rule is Half the new price, so £220-270 would be reasonable, condition dependent.
Quatschmacher
Thanks for the reply. It was an ebay auction starting at £250 which I thought would be worth paying. In the end it actually went for £320, so probably good that I didn't bid.
warwickhunt
I have to say that I think £320 was still a decent price for the combo version of that amp! 50% of the new price seems a bit of a low estimate for used amps/combos especially desirable marques such as GK, MB etc.
Kubickiboy
Hi. I sold my 400RB-III 2x10 for £260 on the 'bay. It was in almost perfect condition though. Hope this helps.
