Mr. Foxen
I have just acquired an Acoustic 2x15, it is at present unlined, an has an ugly bit in the high mids, I figure lining might sort this, so after the best way of doing this, mattress topper comes up, but that stuff looks a bit expensive for the knobbly foam stuff, is it dead cheap somewhere? Al Heeley
go to the fabric store at your local indoor market (*or similar retail outlet) and buy a bag of hi-loft wadding, the sort of stuff they pack parkas with (or teddy bears), you can pay a fortune for special acoustically-tuned speaker cab wadding from audiophile shops or you can go gut your sisters teddy bears with a kitchen knife. Kids if you are reading this, remember to first get the consent of your parent or guardian before misusing kitchen knives.
Mr. Foxen
This is a ported cab, so it is about lining rather than stuffing. Although according to the maths, it is tuned so low it might as well be a sealed cab. I want basic fingery foam, I've got loads of little bits from packaging, need a big bit.
