gregmak
Hi guys, I own a 77 Fretless Fender P Bass, in black color and maple neck. Its in perfect condition, barely any scratches! Everything on this bass is ALL original. Nothing has been changed, and the fretboard is brand new, not even scratches, since it has not been played almost at all! The bass belonged to a friend of my father, who was an upright player, and thus hardly ever played this, which is why it's in such great shape I love the bass, and the sound, however I'm looking for a fretted bass, particularly a Fender Jazz Bass. I would trade it for: Rickenbacker 4003 (open to all years) 70s Fender P or J bass (fretted) Ampeg SVT (CL,VT with Cab) or SVT2Pro. If nothing else works, sale price is: 2400 sterling. Greg P.S. I'm based in Cyprus, but i travel to UK yearly, and have many friends who do the same. Edited August 1, 2011 by gregmak

Beedster
Nice bass mate, but if you bump it every 3 hours it will just annoy people (and it will look like you're desperate to get rid of it). If you put more detail in the title (e.g., 'maple board fretless'), and then anyone looking for one - and I know of at least two guys on the forum who are because I've got one also - will find it easily. Given that it's a vintage instrument and that you're after a bass of similar vintage, it would help hugely to have some info regarding originality (especially the finish, PUPs, tuners, pickguard and bridge) and, with the neck on this model being it's unique selling point, the condition of the board - mine was described as 'in perfect playable condition' and required a £200 refin! You might want to say where you're based also, proximity sometimes tempts people who'd otherwise overlook it! Good luck, it's a cracking looking bass Chris Edited June 26, 2011 by Beedster
PeteinKent
Hi guys, I own a 77 Fretless Fender P Bass, in black color and maple neck. Its in perfect condition, barely any scratches! I love the bass, and the sound, however I don't really use it in my rock band so I would like to trade it for a fretted bass. It has to be another 70s Fender bass whether P or J, and has to be MIA in good condition! If a serious offer is made, I would take a video to show u the sound, and would expect the same from the other person Thanks, hope we can work a deal to benefit us both! Greg
Hi Greg, Thanks for your interest mate but I'm not looking for a fretless bass. Good luck in your search Pete
