Machines
They'll be made in China I expect. If it doesn't advertise that it's UK made then it won't be - I think only the Klystrons are made in the UK,

Jono Bolton
thedontcarebear.
IMO it looks god-awful with the red control panel. But anyway, it looks like what is essentially and ABM combo and a the MK head, so my guess is it's Chinese made
Machines
It'd be better to buy the head seperate and an ABM210 to go with it. No idea how this works out on pricing..

I remember speaking to Mark Gooday at Music Live a couple of years back and he was saying that if it was up to him everything would still be made in the UK but if that was the case they just wouldnt be able to compete on price with the other rival brands in the low to mid ranges which is understandable, he also said Ashdown's high end stuff would always be made in england, which is nice, more than can be said for Ampeg eh! But all their American Manufacturing has been closed down nothing is made in the US any more.
Buzz
Give it 10 years or so and the manufacturing costs overseas will start coming up to the level it is at home, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
alexmoore10
As long as they keep making great gear I'm happy!!
