Lozz196 Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 (edited) The band I`m currently depping for would be glam/rock. The band I`m permanent with, I`d have no idea - sounds like possible early Roxy Music, with some Ian Dury influences, but no real theme - they`d have to invent a new section for us! Which would probably be called "Odd". Edited June 26, 2011 by Lozz196 Quote

ficelles Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Actually I'm on iTunes on Bats & Butterflies by Sarana VerLin. Maybe Richard Burley's Counting Magpies as well if it made it on. I think we are probably in the folk genre or something similar but I don't have iTunes... ficelles Quote
Doddy Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Some of the stuff that I've played on that is on itunes is classed as pop and alternative. Quote
Prime_BASS Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 No doubt my band will be put under something I hate. Pop-punk no doubt. I hope my self would be classed between funk and punk. Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 We are under 'British invasion' what does that even meen? Quote
LiamPodmore Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Most likely Pop Punk, or possibly rock or alternative. Liam Quote
Dave Vader Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011
Sell out/musical whore.
+1 although I think we're just under rock, despite not being very rocky at all. I am plugging post-goth as a genre (not sure if it exists yet) Quote
Mylkinut Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Somewhere between Alternative and Britpop I'd guess. Quote
Clarky Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 We are classified on iTunes as "Alternative, Music, Blues" http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-life-...-of/id423358302 Quote

Classic Rock (shudders), Blues Rock (feels ill) Happy with - Garage Rock Power Pop Punk with a smidgeon of Dub and Glam Rock though. Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 We're listed as "Rock" which is probably broad enough to cover what we do as most people seem to think think americana is a big cup of black coffee. Quote
