Musicman20
After seeing so many nice 2x12s stating they were £450 ish all in, I asked for a quote on the same spec. How much? £1399 incl VAT, plus shipping. Did they add the 1 at the front by accident?! I asked about 1x12s, because there have been basschatters discussing these being built, and one in the for sale thread. Answer? They don't make them. Very odd.... Im intrigued. Mr. Foxen
Sounds like confusion there. Was it via email? I've got someone elses quote before, I was just asking for a head sleeve, got a whole rig quote. Best phone. Talk to Jeff, its funniest. dannybuoy
Deffo sounds like a mistake there mate! You could get a Berg NV412 for less than that.
Finbar
Pretty sure that's the cost of a GT200. Might have got the wrong end of the stick when you started talking about bass D: You're best off phoning them if you didn't already. It'll probably be Jeff who answers, and Jeff knows his cabs. tayste_2000
Right I've just called the factory and the price on these cabs are: £439 with the standard Neo Speakers (that I have and love) £539 with Eminence Deltas (weighs a ton but slightly better low end and a smoother sound)
longtimefred
Mmmmm gonna get me some matamp!!! Can I order directly from them?
tayste_2000
Yep call 0845 644 4606 and speak to Jeff tell him Steve Taylor sent you and he'll sort you right out, he's probably still at the factory now
Musicman20
See that's more like it! Thanks! Why are they so cheap if they contain neos?! Do they still make a 1x12?

As Steve says just ring Jeff and let him know what you are looking for and he'll advise you on cost etc in his own inimitable style, i called this morning to finalise the details of my order and Jeff rang me back at dinner to say it would be ready on Wednesday and these are custom cab dimensions that they don't normally build !!!!!!! Wooks79
Anyone know how much a matamp 2x15 is off the top of their heads?
tayste_2000
I wanna say around 900 but might be 750 I can't recall since they are essentially custom order also depends which version you go for. Tbh it's the only Matamp cab that hasn't slated me, don't get me wrong I nearly bought 2 until I tried the first 8x10 and ported 4x10. I'd ring Jeff for a quote since I'm half guessing
Colledge
what kind of volume does the neo 2x12 put out? is it up there with the barefaced super 12, or your average 4x10?

tayste_2000
Anyone who wants to hear these is welcome to shoot me a PM I've got the 8x10, ported 4x10 and 2x12 and of course the GT200 I mean I'm only 25miles from the factory but I gig a lot and can always bring one of these if I'm gigging nearby for you to hear. peety
As there was some interest in 112's thought i'd post pics of my new ones picked up from Jeff yesterday, These were a custom order as they don't do a 112 bass cab as standard. I based the dimensions on the aguilar DB112, these are 8ohm sealed cabs with a 400 watt neo speakers identical to the ones in my 212, has metal carry handles at the side. really pleased with the result as usual given them a qick blast at low volume will give them a proper run out at weekend, for info price was £280 each
andydye
a mate of mine (Martin) worked for Matamp as a builder and is now going solo http://www.martamp.com/ he mostly does all valve guitar amps but he does do nice cab builds too...ask him for a quote (and a timescale - he's usually quite busy), lovely guy though.
