Johngh Posted June 27, 2011 Share Posted June 27, 2011 Just picked up the Marcus Miller Jazz Body that was for sale on here. Also just ordered a Status Graphite J neck to go on it. Neck should be here in a couple of weeks. I've always fancied a Status necked Jazz or Stingray, and never imagined being lucky enough to pick up a Marcus Jazz body. Not sure what machine heads to put on it yet. I'll also see what it sounds like one it's all bolted together before I decide to get a Sadowsky pre for it or not. Johngh Posted August 20, 2011 Author Share Posted August 20, 2011 Took the neck and body to Jon Shuker today, I've also asked him to put a drop tuner on it. [/i]It sounds immense, it's easily the best sounding jazz I've ever had. The sound is even all over the neck, and if you thought a Geddy jazz had growl, you should hear this baby.
