markstuk
Hi all, Picked this up recently on here, loving it, but want to keep things consistent so it makes sense to get a fretless fiver. It's an active, early 1990's, BB3000 AF, throughneck, made in Taiwan (I think) with what appears to be an ebony board.. Open to suggestions, happy to add cash into the deal for the right bass.. Something 34/35", medium string spacing (17.5 mm ish), lined or unlined, active or passive as long as it's not a one trick pony.. I've tidied this up a little since I bought it, comes with new flatwound Chromes and either a tatty hard case or a new Tribal Planet padded gig bag.. It's early 90's vintage, in good nick apart from some (now filled) holes where someone attempted to attach a strap thingy at the back of the body. I suspect it's worth about £300 (perhaps a little more) in pure cash terms.. Edited July 1, 2011 by markstuk

andy67
That is beautiful! Selling price too low IMHO, the fretted version sells new for around £1500: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp.../BB3000_WR.html A secondhand one should fetch around the £600 mark. Wishing I had £300!!! Edited June 30, 2011 by andy67

There are a few notable differences. Saying that, these MIT instruments are quality, and this is well worth the asking price.
