Not A Rockbass?!

Is it me or is this just a Rockbass Streamer with a Warwick neck?

It's a Streamer Standard, Warwick did make these in their Germany factory so it is genuine.

That's a normal Warwick, not a rockbass, used to be their cheapest model, well the 1 pickup version was.

Yep, definitely a Streamer Standard.

I owned one for a couple of years and it was a great bass.

I think I paid £300 for mine new in 2000.

It was the exact same 2 pickup model as this one. The ONLY issue I ever had with it was the fact that the MEC soapbars were incredibly low output, so if you're considering going for it, I would recommend that you factor into the equation the fact that you'll need to upgrade them.

all the Rockbass Streamers have dirty great chrome input jacks on them, this one doesnt

also the control cavity cover on rockbasses is just a screw on jobby, not a pop out warwick type

Yep its a Warwick streamer standard. I have the 5 string equivalent and i agree that the pickups are a bit weak but it does still sound nice. I might swap them out soon.
