dove
Just wondered if anyone has used Daddario Pizzicato strings. As a new player I've been trying different strings and recently picked up a set of these. The E and A are a completely different tone/.feel/attack to the G and D.I'm aware players often mix strings (not entirely sure why?) and that DB strings can need a lot of playing in.They've been played for a good few hours and been on the bass a week or two but the difference is still pronounced. I've also tried Innovation Honeys which were nice acoustically at home but didn't work for me live (amped) at all. Playing americana/country blues on a Stentor Zeller (1980) I have realized that 90 per cent of the sound is in the fingers but any advice would be most welcome
