[/quote] Exactly, If you paid £1500 for a bass that had parts missing that fetch £500 but would make the bass worth £3000 it's worth it IMO. Also I like things just right. Anyone who was somebody knew that DiMarzio or EMG's were what you wanted. Just like the BBOT bridges these pickups were the parts you threw away when you upgraded.
