TransistorBassMan
I went to see Booker T Jones last night. Not with the MG's but the band were impressive. Bassist Jeremy Curtis had some big shoes to fill and did so very well with a nice Precision/Ampeg set up. A really enjoyable gig, my personal highlight being the 7 minute version of Time Is Tight that closed the show. Not far behind was the following introduction... "This is a song we recorded in 1962 when I was 17 and a senior in high school. It's called Green Onions" I know what I was writing as a 17 year old and it wasn't Green Onions! Oh yeah.... They managed to slip a couple of verses of Mustang Sally into Chain Of Fools
