EssentialTension Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Congratulations. If that's the one they've had in for a while then I've had a go on it. Very nice. Quote

Grand Wazoo Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Very nice, I have also had a go on that one, it played really nice. Quote
dc2009 Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 looks lovely, enjoy it though i have to say, all these people saying they had a go on your bass before you sound a little bit like they might if it was about a female! Quote
KiOgon Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Yes - me too, I had a go on 'the shop bike'! it was the only P in GAK with flats on TBH, I thought it played well enough but not over impressed, & I still cant get the rusty metalwork out of my mind, not for that money Enjoy it Dan, 'tis a fine machine Quote
Lozz196 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011
Phwoar. Nice score! I miss my old one
Having played Clarkys old Pino, if your new one is as good (and am sure it is), you have one hellova bass there. Quote
Blademan_98 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 That looks sweet Enjoy it and give it the attention it deserves! Quote
danweb22 Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011
Looks less 'relic'd' than some I've seen
yeah not too much relicing (the usual buckle rash on the back) and a few dings on the front. Plays superb now I have lowered the action a bit as it was a bit high off the shelf. Quote
danweb22 Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011
It looks like a Squier :-)
Oh no I've been duped! Quote
BassBod Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 You've got to watch that Wes - he's quick with the belt sander........ Quote
DirkThrust Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Great basses. I've had GAS for one of those for ages. I think I too have had a play of that one in GAK. Would've bought it except for the "Special Deal"* they offered me when I told them in advance I was coming in to try it. * 200 quid more than the price advertised on their website Quote
